The direction of education will be decided in this primary election on June 25. Ballots are already here! There are only a handful of swing districts in the entire state, so the winner of the primary elections will very likely be the winner in the general election.

Voter turnout in primary elections is much lower than general elections. A few votes can make a big difference. Please vote! And encourage your family and friends that voting in this election is critical.

There is a big push from the extreme right to change education policies for the worse in the state legislature and state school board. If there was ever a time to get involved, this is it.

Help send an overwhelming message at the polls that Utahns support public education and our educators!

Education First has researched the records and backgrounds of each of the primary races for the legislature and school board. Look at our recommendations here. If one of these races are not in your district, reach out to friends and family who live in those districts and make sure they vote by mail or at the polls!
